Stratford Upon Avon is a great place for a day out for lot’s of reasons; there’s such a great deal to see and discover about Shakespeare, you can walk by the river or take a boat trip and of course there’s the theatre.
The analogue to digital TV changeover has been talked about for a long time and although I’ve known it was going to happen I haven’t really thought about it in Motorhoming terms because at home I’m done.
Last weekend we visited St Neots Camping and Caravanning Club site for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The weather was fine, the walks by the river were excellent, St Neots itself was interesting and we found a great Chinese take away, all in all a very good weekend.
Caravan Club site co-ordinates are now available for download for Navman, Garmin and TomTom Satnav’s.
I’m going to keep posting information about Motorhome parking in the UK as I find it. The situation does keep on changing but it’s now very obvious that the Councils are becoming very enlightened and welcoming and realise that people who driveMotorhomes are an asset and should be encouraged to park locally and spend their money.
I’ve just received my regular newsletter from the Camping & Caravanning Club and I was very interested to see that they have launched a brand new area on their website for people who are new to camping, caravanning and Motorhoming.
I’ve written before about Broadway and it is somewhere we never tire of.
Motorhome parking is now available in Bury St Edmunds near Suffolk.
While driving to Broadway today for a couple of nights away I passed the Stratford Upon Avon park and ride area and I saw a Motorhome parked in there.
