Continue ReadingWhen we visited Cromer the other week in our Motorhome I must say that although the weather was shocking Cromer itself was very pleasant. The beach was clean and great to meander down, there was a lifeboat on the end of the pier and a lifeboat museum in the old lifeboat house, the town itself was interesting and the fish and chips were great.
Continue ReadingHats off to Fylde Borough Council in St Annes, Lancashire, for proposing a very innovative approach to Motorhome parking in the UK. I have written a number of posts on this subject but this is the best idea I have come across to date for the UK and so at last, it seems, our councils are getting the message that Motorhomes should be welcomed rather than ostracised.
Continue ReadingSeacroft Caravan Club Site is a very well laid out 96 pitch site with plenty of hardstandings to suit the Motorhome. It's only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Cromer in Norfolk and it has a couple of big plusses, an outdoor swimming pool and an on site restaurant.
Continue ReadingWe visited Chatsworth House Caravan Club Site last week and this has got to be one of the best club sites available. The site itself is very well laid out and the toilet/shower block has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. In the end though it's all about location, location, location.
