Barrington Court in Somerset is owned by the National Trust and in good old NT tradition is a superb day out both in the house and the garden, not to mention an excellent lunch in the restaurant.

The Western Motorhome show takes place at the Three Counties Showground, Great Malvern, Worcestershire over the weekend of the 14-16th of August and it promises a great weekend.

Poolsbrook Caravan Club Site

We spent last weekend at the Caravan Club Poolsbrook Site and we were very pleasantly surprised at what was on offer. It was our first visit to what is a relatively new site and the place was very well laid out, the wardens were very helpful and friendly, the toilet block was exceptional, the pitches were large and there was plenty to see and do – what more can you ask for.

Hooking your Motorhome up to the Site Mains

Newton Mill Holiday Park

We’ve just had a weekend at Newton Mill Holiday Park which is just on the outskirts of Bath and overall we had a really good time and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Swindon Steam Museum

Swindon Steam Museum is a great place to visit not only for the Steam Museum itself but it’s alongside an excellent indoor shopping complex, has a huge car park and when we visited in midweek it was fairly quiet.
