Prior to Christmas I had a Peugeot Boxer recall notification for my Starseeker under the YLH recall.  The letter actually said that they note from their records that I still needed it doing but it was the first time I knew anything about it.  It only applies to the new Peugeot Boxer cab and there are two issues that need attention:

1. There may be a problem with the steering mechanism on the vehicle which could cause resistance when manoeuvring and therefore an operation needed to be carried out on the steering rack.

2. Some vehicles will also have certain key components reinforced against water ingress to prevent possible operating faults in the long term.

The work was done free of charge and took half a day.

I know that often these recalls apply to certain chassis numbers but if you do have a new Peugeot Boxer then it might be worth asking your dealer to find out if it applies to you or not.  I got the impression that the steering problem was more widespread than the water ingress issue.
